Zen Shin Sangha was founded by Sensei Koshin Ogui, an eighteenth-generation Shin minister who worked with Zen mas­ters in Japan and San Francisco before coming to Cleveland. Sensei now resides in Chicago but returns to Cleveland six times a year to conduct services and med­itation practice. Each spring, Zen Shin Sangha hosts all the Buddhist groups in the area for a Buddha’s Birthday celebra­tion complete with potluck dinner.
